Advertising Genius

Apple's Think Different ads that ran from 1997 to 2002 probably have to be considered some of the greatest in history...

Saturday Night

It was our one year anniversary last Saturday night, and to celebrate my girlfriend and I went out for dinner, and then to the Opera House. Perfect evening.

Surveillance: Best Made Co.

Who doesn't love some cool stuff? Best Made Co is exactly that–some really cool, well made stuff. They make everything from axes to camping gear to dog leashes. And all of it is the best made, especially according to them.

This looks like it lives up to its name...

Inspiration From Jobs

With the resignation of Steve Jobs, so much interesting stuff about his life has been popping up all over my RSS feeds... Here is something that really inspired me, and caused me to just pause for a moment and think about life...

GANT

New videos from one of my absolute favourites: Gant. They're making me excited for winter... Even though it is winter here in Australia, it's really not. It's not the right time of year, and there isn't enough snow on the ground... These make me excited to go back to Canada in December and experience the real deal, snow-on-the-ground, warm inside, Christmas time shine kind of winter.

Well worth the watch:

The Toronto What?

Did you know that the Toronto Blue Jays used to be the Toronto Maple Leafs? I didn't.. Anyways, here's a company that makes custom order replica jersey's of classic baseball (and other sports) teams. These are awesome!

other blog?

I started another blog that I will run alongside this one... While this blog remains my space to post cool things I find on the internet, especially in terms of fashion and design, my other blog Beautifully Buoyant will serve as a space to do some spiritual and theological reflection... I plan to use it to focus on how the church can creatively define the culture of the world. Beautifully Buoyant is less of a "I post, you read" kind of blog than this one... It is meant to be a conversation and a giant brainstorm of how the church can engage with the world and communicate the message of Christ in creative and effective ways.

Surveillance: Saint-James

Saint-James is a french company that sets the standard for what nautical clothing is. They are the original–starting in 1889 making Breton striped sweaters for deep sea fisherman in Normandy. Since then their styles have been adopted by labels all over the world, but none have been able to match the quality and attention that Saint-James puts into their clothes.
