Two Inspiring Artists

Two very talented and very original artists presenting what they do. I love hearing talks such as these that really challenge my thinking creatively and stretch me to use my imagination in new ways...

for more TED talks, click here

This first video is of an artist named Shea Hembrey, who created 100 different artists (their personalities, etc.) along with all of their artwork. Extremely talented, and extremely creative.

This next video is from a woman named Janet Echelman. She creates massive art installations in urban environments through the use of nets and lace. And it all started with some fisherman in India.

Tree Of Life

Haven't had the chance to see Terrence Malnick's "Tree of Life" yet... But at least I'm able to listen to a compilation of songs from the film. If the film is anything as good as the music in it, then it might just be able to work its way onto my favourite movies list.

Cover art for the compilation album:

If you've never heard of the movie, here's the trailer:

Tantum Tees

What's more convenient than a pocket on your shirt? I mean, you can put pretty much anything in it, and it's always at close reach... But I feel like shirt pockets have garnered a strange connection to old men lately... That's not so with these Tantum, African patch t-shirts! Thanks for making the t-shirt pocket "flashy" Tantum!
